On 27th October 2009, Delhi Public School R.K. Puram was host to the award-winning German Science Projects .German Universities have developed original project ideas for popularizing scientific concepts especially among school students under ‘Fit for Life’ Competition, held in Germany.
Out of 75 award winning projects , 5 were identified as suitable for academic ,scientific and educational exchange between India and Germany as a part of Indo German Research Co-operation.
The German Delegates were greeted by the Chairman DPSS, Mr. Ashok Chandra, Director DPSS Ms Renu Mittal , Principal DPS, R.K.Puram Dr. D.R.Saini, Vice Principal Ms Shobha Mehta and Head Mistress Ms Vanita Sehgal.
They were welcomed with a Shlok invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh while they lit the lamp of learning. This was followed by a 45 minute programme in which synopsis was given of each project.
Then the students of each project moved to their respective classrooms where 2 sessions of two hours duration each from 8.30 am to 11.30 am and 12.00 to 2.00 pm , were held.
