MORNING ASSEMBLY
The Morning Assembly is an essential part of the school
schedule. Each section has its own special day to conduct
the assembly with the help of their Class Teacher in
the course of the academic year. It helps in exposing
each student to both Indian and other world cultures.
The Assembly is an opportunity for displaying the inexhaustible
talent of the children. It fosters the spirit of group
activity leadership and value building. It also acknowledges
the silent workers in the class who are equally participative
in organizing the class assembly. The Assembly is also
an opportunity for the students to show their sensitivity
and social responsibility towards the DPS Shiksha Kendra
where each class not only contributes a voluntary sum,
but also takes classes as well. Parents are invited
to attend these assemblies which form bridges of communication
between them and the school.
The Principal encourages the Headmistresses and Vice
Principals also to conduct the Assembly from time to
time. Special assemblies are held to commemorate important
events in the school. The entire school attends special
assemblies.
Value Education Classes are also conducted by the Principal
from time to time for all students.
