2008-2009 SUMMER TIMINGS
 
The following summer timings will be observed by Delhi Public School R. K. Puram/ East of Kailash/Vasant Vihar for the new academic session from 24th March 2008 (for X and XII) and from 25th March 2008 (for classes VI, VII, VIII and IX).

DPS R. K. Puram 6:50 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.
DPS Vasant Vihar 7:50 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.
DPS East of Kailash 9:15 a.m. - 02:15 p.m.

Summer uniform will be worn by all the students with effect from the dates mentioned above.

The new academic session dates for the Junior Schools will be announced later.
  
2008-2009 Session for Class XI
  Dear Parents,

I am sure your ward is performing satisfactorily in the Class X Board examinations, which end on 27th March, 2008. The academic session for Class XI will commence on 15th April, 2008 and the school timings will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

However, this promotion to Class XI is provisional. Attendance during this period will be compulsory. Streams will be finally allocated as per the eligibility criteria, after the declaration of the Class X (AISSE) results.

Students opting for the Science and Commerce streams will be exposed to all the elective subjects of these streams; while those opting for Humanities will be placed in a separate section, and exposed to the relevant elective subjects.

Through this approach, we hope to strike the right balance between our students’ potential and interests, promote greater understanding of the various subjects, and thereby enhance the learning process, in pursuit of academic excellence.
