for Filling the Registration Form
Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram welcomes you to the
Nursery Admission process of its Junior Schools at Vasant
Vihar and East of Kailash for the year 2007-2008.
1. General Instructions
| 1.1 |
Children
whose date of birth falls between October
1, 2002 and March 31, 2004*
only are eligible for registration
for the academic session 2007-2008.
*(As per the direction by
the High Court on December 9, 2006) |
| 1.2 |
The number of seats available for admission to class
Nursery 2007-2008 in each of the Junior Schools
is 125 (i.e. One Hundred and Twenty Five). |

You
may apply online through the website (www.dpsrkp.net)
OR simply download the offline form from the website
and dispatch the duly filled form by Registered
Post to the concerned Junior Schools i.e. Delhi
Public School Vasant Vihar, E-71, Vasant
Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi 110057 OR Delhi
Public School, F-Block, East of Kailash,
New Delhi 110065. |

- You
are advised to fill in only one form
either Online OR Offline to avoid cancellation
of both the forms.
- You
are advised to apply only to one
of the Junior Schools that meets the eligibility
criteria. Applying to both schools will result
in the cancellation of your application form.

online and offline application forms will be available
w.e.f. December 1, 2006 to December
20, 2006. The last date for receiving all
online forms is December 20, 2006
and for receiving offline application forms is December
22, 2006. |

admission process has been carefully designed
to provide equal opportunity to all and to maintain
transparency in the admission process. As per
the recommendations of the Ganguly committee,
the following criteria have been kept in mind
for the allocation of points that will add up
to form the final score of your application. |

In the event of many applicants getting identical
final scores in the lowest eligible score, a limited
use of the lottery system would be adopted from
within these applicants to select children for admission.

Guidelines for filling Online Forms |
| 2.1 |
This is an electronic registration form for the
Junior Schools of DPS R.K. Puram at East of Kailash
and Vasant Vihar. Please read the instructions
carefully before filling in the form to avoid
the rejection of your form. |

Each form will be issued a unique Registration
Number after the acceptance of the form. Kindly
take a print out of the Receipt Page. This serves
as a record to know the status of your application
and for any further correspondence.

This is a very simple form to fill. All you need
to do is to fill in the boxes with the required
information. Most of the general information can
be entered into the form by simply selecting and
clicking on the choices available. This facilitates
the application process and makes it quicker.
The rest of the information that pertains to you
needs to be typed in by you.

Please fill in each entry of the form and write
NA for those entries, which are not applicable
for you.

Do not press the ENTER KEY to move from one field
to another. Use the TAB KEY or the mouse control
for the same.

After completing the application form kindly click
on the SUBMIT FORM button.
(It is advisable to take a Printout of your form
before clicking the SUBMIT FORM button for final
registration)

Immediately
after submission of the form, a receipt with a
Registration Number will be generated. Kindly
take a print out of Receipt Page for all future
reference.

To avoid rejection, DO NOT fill more than one
form for one applicant. |

Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the system.

3.
Guidelines for filling Offline Forms

| 3.1 |
The downloaded form should be duly completed before
dispatch. A registration number will be allocated
to your application after the receipt of your form
and will be dispatched to you by registered post
by the concerned Junior School after December
22, 2006. |
| 3.2 |
You are advised to keep a photocopy of the filled
form. |
| 3.3 |
Do not attach any documents with the form.

Admission to class Nursery 2007-2008 |
| |
Every year we have more applicants than seats available.
Last year 40 children had applied for one seat at
each school. It is not possible to admit every child
applying for admission. Inability of the candidate
to secure a seat is in no way a reflection of his/her
caliber. |

The list of selected/waitlisted candidates will
be displayed on January 31, 2007. |

Final admission is subject to the verification of
