Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram won the annual Harvard Club debate held on 4th November 2009 at Tagore International School, for the third consecutive year. Their team comprising of Aditya Mitra, Akshay Goel and Shreya Prakash was awarded the ‘Best Group’ prize. The motion for the debate was “Minimum legal age for drinking should be reduced to 18 years” and was hotly debated by the participants of 16 schools which attended the event. The panel of judges lauded the efforts of all participants who discussed diverse issues like morality, ethics, drunken driving and even freedom of choice as they battled to defend their stands and gave kudos to Delhi Public School R.K.Puram which has won this debate every year since its inception in 2007.
