Delhi & NCR Inter DPS Tennis Tournament 2007 held at DPS R. K. Puram from August 10 – 14, 2007. Total 13 teams in boys and 10 teams in girls participated. The opening ceremony held on 10th August 2007 at 9.00 a.m. Dr. (Mrs.) S. Chona, Principal DPS R.K. Puram inaugurated and declared the championship open. Col. Amarjeet Singh, Director AITA was the Guest of Honour of the Championship. Dr. D. R. Saini, Vice Principal DPS R. K. Puram proposed vote of thanks.

Mix-doubles
Winner – DPS R. K. Puram
Runners up – DPS Rohini
The matches were organized in three categories i.e. boys team championship, girls team championship and mix-doubles chanmpinship.
Boys result from semi-fianls
Matches played on knock out basis and DPS R. K. Puram, Rohini, Vasant Kunj and Mathura Road reached semi final. DPS R. K. Puram played against DPS Rohini and Mathura Road played against DPS Vasant Kunj. DPS R. K. Puram defeated DPS Rohini by 2 – 0 and reached final. In another half DPS Mathura Road defeated DPS Vasant Kunj by 2-0 and reached final.
In the final DPS R. K. Puram defeated DPS Mathura Road by 2-0.

Girls result from the semi-finals
Matches played on knock out basis and DPS R. K. Puram, Gurgaon, Greater Noida and Mathura Road reached semi final. DPS R. K. Puram played against DPS Mathura Road and Gurgaon played against DPS Greater Noida. DPS R. K. Puram defeated DPS Mathura Road by 2 – 0 and reached final. In another half DPS Gurgaon defeated DPS Greater Noida by 2-0 and reached final.
In the final DPS R. K. Puram defeated DPS Gurgaon by 2-0.

Mix-doubles result from the semi-finals
Matches played on knock out basis and DPS R. K. Puram, Gurgaon, Rohini and Mathura Road reached semi final. DPS R. K. Puram played against DPS Mathura Road and Gurgaon played against DPS Rohini. DPS R. K. Puram defeated DPS Mathura Road by 2 – 0 and reached final. In another half DPS Rohini defeated DPS Gurgaon by 2-0 and reached final.

Closing Ceremony and Prize Distribution held on 14.08.2007 at 10.30 a.m. Vice Principal Dr. D. R. Saini, DPS R. K. Puram give away the prizes. The overall championship goes to DPS R. K. Puram
